Inside are two 30-litre compartments — general waste in one, recyclables in the other — plus a 3-litre removable caddy for food waste, which is the part that causes trouble in a warm climate. Integrated odour control with replaceable activated carbon filters keeps the smell down between collections, which matters through the long rains when nothing dries and nothing airs out. Both compartments lift out with carrier-bag hooks and liner retaining holes, so emptying is a straight lift rather than a wrestle. Supplied in grey — some suppliers list this colourway as graphite. Note that this is the bin only, not the starter set.
