UccLife Triply Stainless Steel Casserole Pot with Glass Lid, 18cm to 28cm, Honeycomb Non Stick Sufuria, Induction and Oven Safe

The UccLife triply casserole is a heavy stainless steel sufuria with two riveted handles, a glass lid and a honeycomb non stick interior. Buy it in the one size you cook most, or build a set over time: six sizes from 18cm to 28cm, all the same construction, so they stack and the lids match.

Tri-ply means 18/10 stainless steel inside and out with an aluminium core through the base and up the walls, so githeri or ugali does not catch in the middle and a stew simmers evenly without constant stirring. The honeycomb surface keeps rice and sauces from sticking without a coating that wears off, and you can use metal spoons. It works on gas, electric, ceramic and induction, and the pot goes into the oven with the lid off.

Which size: 18cm for sauces, porridge and one or two portions; 20cm (2.8L) for rice and vegetables for a small family; 22cm (3.7L) for everyday stew for four; 24cm (4.5L) for githeri, pilau and family cooking; 26cm (5.7L) for big families and weekend cooking; 28cm (6.7L) for guests, events and batch cooking.

What you can use it for: beef, chicken and goat stew; githeri, beans and ndengu; rice and pilau; ugali in the bigger sizes; boiling potatoes and pasta; soups and porridge; braising in the oven.
