Danny Home French Press Coffee Maker, Glass Tea and Coffee Plunger | Borosilicate Glass Cafetiere with Stainless Steel Filter, No Paper Filters

A Danny Home French press for coffee and tea in heat resistant borosilicate glass, with a stainless steel plunger and mesh filter. Add ground coffee or loose tea leaves, pour hot water, wait four minutes and press. No paper filters, no machine, no electricity, and the glass lets you watch the brew so you pour it at the strength you like.

What you get

• Borosilicate glass beaker that takes boiling water straight from the kettle
• Stainless steel plunger with a fine mesh filter that keeps grounds and leaves out of the cup
• Lid with pour spout cover, so the coffee stays hot while it steeps
• Steel frame and handle that keep your hand away from the hot glass
• Takes apart for washing; the filter rinses clean under the tap

Good for

• Ground coffee, from a single cup to a pot for the office
• Loose leaf tea, hibiscus, dawa and herbal infusions
• Cold brew: steep overnight in the fridge and press in the morning
• A gift for a coffee lover who does not want a machine on the counter

How to use

• One heaped tablespoon of coarse ground coffee per cup, water just off the boil
• Stir, put the lid on with the plunger up, wait four minutes, press slowly
• Pour straight away so the coffee does not keep brewing in the pot

Care

• Hand wash with warm soapy water; do not use the glass on the stove
• Replacement glass beakers are not supplied, so avoid knocks and sudden temperature changes
