The Uakeen Germany VK-27 is an 11 piece die-cast aluminium cookware set with a ceramic non-stick coating, made for the family kitchen that cooks every day. Die-cast pots have a thick, heavy base that holds heat and spreads it evenly, so pilau, stews and ugali cook through without catching at the bottom the way they do in thin sufurias. The ceramic coating is free of PFOA and PTFE and lets food release with a wipe.

The set covers the whole week: a saucepan for sauces and porridge, two casseroles for stews and rice, a lidded frying pan for eggs, chapati and pancakes, and a 33cm roaster for a whole chicken or fish. Every pot has its own aluminium lid, and two silicone spoons are in the box. It works on gas, induction, vitroceramic and halogen cookers.
