The Bathlux Storage Cabinet hides the week's washing behind a white slatted door that tilts forward on a hinge, with a removable fabric bag inside so you carry the whole load to the machine in one go. Above it, an open shelf for folded towels, toiletries or a plant.

At 98cm tall with a 38 x 34cm footprint, it takes the floor space of a laundry basket and gives back a shelf and a tidy front. The frame is bamboo, the panels are white MDF, and both are finished to shrug off bathroom steam, so it works in the bathroom itself rather than needing to live in the bedroom. It also suits a landing, a utility corner or a bedroom where a pile of clothes is the last thing you want to see.
