This is Joseph Joseph's compact everyday rack, deep enough for a full evening's washing-up but tight enough in footprint to live permanently beside a small sink. Flexible ribs cushion each plate as it goes in, which is why glasses and glazed crockery come out of it unmarked over years of use rather than slowly getting chipped edges. An extra-large utensil holder keeps ladles, tongs and cutlery upright and draining rather than sitting in a wet heap.
