This drainer separates the sharp things out. A narrow slot down one side takes knives with blades up to 11 cm, holding each one upright and apart while it dries, so nobody reaches into a handful of steel. Two large compartments take the rest of the cutlery, standing it up rather than letting it lie in a puddle. Underneath, an integrated reservoir catches the run-off instead of letting it spread across the worktop, and a spout moulded into the base means you tip it straight into the sink rather than mopping it up. It is made in polypropylene and dismantles fully, so the reservoir can be rinsed out properly. Hand wash recommended.
