A straight stainless steel blade takes a clean strip off potatoes, carrots, arrowroot or butternut with the pull-towards-you action most people are used to, and the moulded eye remover at the tip lifts out sprouts and blemishes without gouging. The handle is wrapped in soft rubber so it stays put when your hands are wet from the sink — which is where peeling actually happens. Stainless steel, silicone and ABS construction, and dishwasher safe when you are done.
