The GoEat Compact solves it with two containers that screw together into a single pot. The 240 ml base takes the main part — yogurt, salad, fruit, a child's lunch portion — while the 100 ml top holds whatever should stay dry and crunchy until the last moment: nuts, granola, croutons, or a dip for raw vegetables. A locking collar screws down over the join and clamps both shut, so it travels upright or on its side in a bag without leaking. At the end of the day the two sections nest into each other and the whole thing packs down to 12.5 cm, which is why it goes back into a bag far more easily than a rigid lunch box. Good for desk lunches, school snacks and long matatu commutes where lunch has to survive the journey. Containers and lids are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe — the locking collar is not, so take it off first.
