The Joseph Joseph bread bin gives the loaf a proper home. The body is melamine — solid, wipe-clean and dishwasher safe, so crumbs and jam fingerprints come off in seconds — and the lid is solid beech wood, which doubles as a cutting and serving surface. Lift it off, slice the bread on it, put it back. The lid should be hand washed to protect the wood. In white it reads as a clean, quiet piece of worktop furniture rather than a plastic box, which is why it suits an open-plan kitchen where the bread bin is permanently on display. This is a discontinued colourway and stock is limited to what is on the shelf.
