Most kitchens own one whisk and make it do everything. The Twist is both in one body. A turn of the handle switches the wires from an open balloon shape for whipping cream, eggs and batter to a flat profile for blending gravies, sauces and custard against the bottom of a pan. The wires are silicone coated, so it is safe to use in non-stick pans without scoring the surface. When you are done the head collapses flat, which is the difference between a whisk that lives in a drawer and one that sticks out of a jar on the counter. It dismantles easily too — which matters once batter has dried between the wires.
